Am on day 6 after circumcision and already 2 stitches seem to have dissolved and am experiencing a little bleeding on the areas where the stitches were…is it the normal healing process or maybe I should see a surgeon

Hey man, it’s normal for the body to still be healing. The important thing is for it to not be excessive bleeding or any other pus-like substance coming out. Try to keep the wound clean and it’ll heal :).

It’s important to also follow up on check ups with your doctor. If you have any doubts it’s always good to go back to him

No problem! Yeah I understand how overwhelming and how much anxiety this healing process causes, but many things you experience are very normal and are part of the healing. It’s always a good idea to contact your doctor :)

I hope recovery goes well!

Hi Noah it's normal at this stage it's very early days for you still. keeping it clean is very important some salted water washes will help. if you think you are getting an infection see you doctor.I think my first stitch came out after 5 days so keep an eye on it try and avoid erections 🙂

You will find some good advice here all the best!

It sounds normal how many days are you now? When the stitches come out or become loose the wound can open a little if this happens it should heal ok but may take a little longer to do so. Keep it clean and if it's weeping and you need to wear clothes keep it covered with some non adhering dressing and gauze. If you are concerned about it then consult with your doctor just to be sure there's no harm in that as we can't see it hear on this forum.

That's good Noah you are getting it checked out and possibly restitched. it would be a little unusual if they do stitch it again see how it goes.

Am healing great 😌 it’s been three weeks since my surgery and all the wounds have completely closed up and dried just fine….am even back to my normal routine now..all I did was keep it clean and follow my doctors advice…even after I was told I was going to heal via secondary healing process which could have taken longer…I kept a positive attitude and am healing just fine now
