6 months post circumcision swelling

So on January 31 i got circumcised. I didn't know this and my dr didn't explain to me he was doing a partial circumcision. Everything seemed to heal good but on the bottom left where my frenulum is at it seems to be swollen. Does it usually take longer for the swelling to go away on that area? I had gone back to my dr's about 3 weeks ago. and he gave me some pills but didn't see any results.

Hey there. I think a lot of guys who've had it done will agree that the frenulum is the last place to heal and stop being swollen. Certainly was for me. Just remember that we all heal at different paces. Full aesthetic healing is often quoted at around the 10 to 12-month mark. :)

I’ve been left with a permanent (at least so far) lump where I’m assuming stitches were tied and it’s only really noticeable when flaccid. Disappears when erect. Function over aesthetic any day! 6 months is still early and I’m sure you’ll see changes over time :)

I have the same, just a slightly harder lump in one area on my scar line - getting softer and smaller as the weeks roll by. At 6 months healed now, I'm proper happy with it all. And so is the Mrs. ;)

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue. Like I was reading my own post 😅

The swelling on mine is also on the left side. I specifically asked my doctor for a partial circumcision, because it is usually easy from healing point of view, also has lower chance of erected penis size discomfort.

I had a visit about 2 month ago and he examined the swelling. He told me that I have access skin there, which is pushing itself and causing swelling. He told that it is a result of a healing process, as my right side god a bit infection and healed slower compared to the left side.

His recommendation was to wait about 1 year, and if it still will trouble me, we need to have a revision. He said that this is purely visual issue and if I feel OK with it, then no revision is even needed.

I guess I’ll wait for a full year and then will decide what to do.

Not what you're looking for?
