Went to see my local GP about my concern for having a short frenulum. Appointment booked to see urologist who confirmed it the case, booked in for surgery procedure. Explained on the day how they cut it to lengthen it. After the surgery the surgeon showed my the results, the skin retracted more than before, it didn’t pull the head down on an angle. He said I should be ok now. He then said he’d removed my whole frenulum, it was very short and restrictive he said. I must admit i did ask if a circumcision would cure the tight skin and he said we'll start with this first.
(I must also say I really do like the look of a circumcised Penis with no frenulum and that is something I am aiming for)
So, I’m glad it has been done, I was just surprised he took it all away as I was left to believe it was just a cut and lengthening on the frenulum.
Has anybody else had something similar done?
Were you pleased with the results?
How long did it take to heal?
I had mine done the beginning of December 2019. Stitches all gone, looks a little red still, not sore really. Feels a bit tight and stingy when erect & skin pulled back (have to pull skin back by hand, quite a lot of skin naturally, hence the interest in circumcision)
Did your GP suggest using steroid creams before opting for the frenuloplasty? I'm in a situation where I was circumcised due to Phimosis and my fren was tight but was told to try the cream first which seems to be working but I agree I think it looks better without the fren so I'm not sure if I should perdue it

Hi.
Thanks for question.
No cream was mentioned, I just went to the doctors, a lady GP actually. 😳
Told her I thought I had a problem, told her it was a short/tight frenulum, she said it could be Peyronie's disease! She booked me to see a urologist, he confirmed my own diagnosis of a tight frenulum, a little snip was the answer.
But in surgery the surgeon removed it all. It looks very neat (I think) just a few little swelling lumpy bits but hoping they go down in time.
I don’t think my frenulum was ever very sensitive so not bothered by that, more pleasure from the head actually.
I too prefer the look, I was also considering getting circumcised, I don’t have any real medical issues, just a lot of foreskin that naturally covers the head when hard which I don’t particularly like.
But it’s a big decision to make. My wife definitely prefers the look of a circumcision.
May I ask how long ago you were circumcised and your thoughts on it.
Thanks.

Mine was a lady GP also although she wasn't overly helpful just gave me the cream, I went back to see a male GP who then explained to try stretching the fren when using the cream and seems to work but I'm afraid incase it's only temporary.
I got circumcised approx 4 months ago and it's been life changing for me considing medical issues. My partner much prefers the look circumcised too. Sensations are different but overall my orgasms are more intense and I last longer which she also likes. I'm also thicker than before due to the freedom without foreskin too which she loves.
Also worth visiting a specialist to see your options and different styles available, but any more questions feel free to give me a PM

Thanks.
Maybe if your frenulum is a good pleasurable spot for you then perhaps continue with the cream to see how it goes. Mine wasn’t sensitive at all actually, that’s why I’m sort of happy it’s gone, more pleasure from the look of it now than what I got when I had one with direct stimulation.
That’s great that you’re happy with the results of your circumcision and so is your partner. Lucky that you’ve gained thickness too.
Were you done in the UK, private or NHS?
Also what style did the surgeon opt for? I quite like the tight look I think, wife too.
