Help! I'm struggling to get hard and stay hard, I'm 39. But last few months, I am struggling to get hard enough for sex, then staying hard , I don't watch pork anymore and been in my relationship for 6 months.

I used to be on sertraline and could get hard , but struggled to ejaculate.

Now I'm off for 3 months , I can't always get hard.

I don't masturbate anymore ( I did previously most days)

My partner has a high sex drive , and I feel like I want it, but can't perform !

Have you tried pills? You can get Cialis over the counter from Boots (I think) or many things from online pharmacies if your partner's mum works in the high street chemist.Yes, you're only 39, but you're on certraline which I guess can't help??

May I ask what the sertraline was prescribed for? I see it can be used for depression as well as delaying premature ejaculation.

Also, do you need to ejaculate or that is for her and/or your satisfaction? Apart from trying to conceive, I don't see not being able to ejaculate while being hard to be a big issue if you both are having fun.

It was for anxiety and depression

So I wonder if your current issue is physical or psychological. If it's the latter, you may want to look into ways you can improve your mood and confidence (for sex), since you've stopped sertraline. That's the only thing I can think of that would help with respect to your hard ons.

As Omniscient1 said, you could try pills, those can give you a boost if you're a little lacking at times, it helped me. But those probably don't help much if the source of the problem is psychological.

To help check the source of your problem, do you get night time erections, morning wood? There are some basic tests for checking those. If you have those, then at least you don't have a physical problem.

Also, if your libido feels low, you could look into stuff that can up your libido to help match your girlfriend's. But those are trial & error, nothing's proven there to help.

try Cialis over the pharmacy counter, or go and have a chat with your doctor and explain your concerns, your previous medication you took for depression would just delay ejaculation

you might want to discuss your issues with your doctor. Drugs can cause this problem but so can stress and depression. Your doctor might also want to test your testosterone level and give you a full exam.
