Had my circumcision just over 4 weeks ago. It went well and I thought the surgeon did a good job. This forum has been a lifeline for me reading people's comments about what they've been through. My stitches fell out/dissolved by the end of the 3rd week but with the usual erections at night I'm sure some were pulled as people have said. I find that when I get erections I get a tiny bit of bleeding where the stitches were pulled. It doesn't look too bad but wondered if anyone else had this issue. I also have a little bit of bleeding under the frenulum but not constant. I only notice it when I go to the toilet and I just dab it with tissue to see if it's leaking. I'm presuming it'll all get better on it's own. Hope so!

Still bleeding a little on 5th week after circumcision.
Thanks for the reply! I'm not too worried about it. I did have 3 separate bleeding points but one has healed. Now it's just one on the right and one under the frenulum. I've read that's usually the last to heal as it's possibly draining fluid from the head.
Hey man. What you describe is identical to me! I'm only day 6 post op but last night my frenulum bled for the first time. I'm getting a lot of erections and they feel like they are pulling on the wound which seems to be preventing my penis getting longer when hard. There's just pressure instead. Cheers
6 weeks in almost and everything has healed nicely. Still very sensitive on the glans. Trying to figure out how to masturbate comfortably lol!
If you don't mind me asking, how did you decide you needed to be circumcised? I only ask because my son has been dealing with a very tight foreskin and painful erections. I am planning to schedule a doctor's appointment but wish to weigh my options.
I didnt want to be circumcised but I had no option when one day I pulled the foreskin back (which was tight) and I'd done it many times to clean underneath. I could only clean it when it was flaccid as it wouldn't go back when erect. Any way I ramble! I pulled it back to clean it and it wouldn't go back in place. The head went bigger and bigger and I ended up in A and E for the most painful thing I've ever had. The managed to get the foreskin back over but it was horrendous. The surgeon recommended circumcision and I agreed. It took a year to get to see someone and he said it would be another year for the op. A week later my local hospital phoned and said we can do it in a month. Wasnt looking forward to it but it's done now. Still getting used to it, but its probably a good thing. By the way the condition was called paraphimosis. Google it! Some awful pics lol.
Honestly this is the kind of thing I'm worried about for my son. He is only able to somewhat retract when he is not erect. He has never gotten it stuck behind his gland but that's probably due to the fact it doesn't retract that far. I'm sorry this happened to you and thanks for sharing.
You could go to the doctors. The guy who I saw who was going to do the circumcision said he wanted to try a cream or something that you apply that may make it retract. He said it may or may not work but might be worth doing. Failing that just get it done. This forum was a lifeline though for me because they don't tell you how long it takes to heal or the things that come with it. Good luck and I hope it gets sorted.
