My issues have been going on for about 8 months now. I have phimosis but it never caused me any problems or infections. My problems were all triggered by a freak event, I accidentally orgasmed when flaccid, instead of getting the usual feel good orgasm rush throughout the body it was instead like a wave of pain from head to penis, so hard to describe…
So, ever since then I have had problems. Painful ejaculations, pain at rest, burn/pain when urinating. A constant sore feeling throughout day. Contacted my GP, put me on a course of antibiotics, helped slightly but then started to get ED issues. Urine and STD tests all came back normal. Was then referred to a urologist for a rigid cystoscopy , this is when everything starts to get worse for me. After the procedure i notice my penis shrink and i have less control of it, floppy to touch, urinate much slowly, much less morning wood and overall , how can describe this…, less power in that area. Almost like its died, funny…. This has been very distressing for me, in my late thirties and something like this happens.
The urologist thinks i have prostatitis and that i need to have a circumcision . What they did to me during that cystoscopy is a mystery, something terrible happened. Maybe because i was never able to really pull my foreskin back and they pulled it all back its caused a lot of inflammation and pain, its been 3 months now and course of more antibiotics and the problems are still there, the head of the penis feels constantly inflamed and in pain.
I have asked for a 2nd opinion.
Anyone can help?
I was never big but my penis not the same since the rigid cystoscopy…

Try consult with experienced doctors in related issue bro. If they would still advise you for adult circumcision, don't hesitate to do. Believe orgasm after circumcision is 1000×'s intense then when I'm with my foreskin and yeah I volunteered myself to get circumcised and now I'm enjoying myself with tight results. All the best.
Your pain is in no way due to your tight foreskin. You do not need a circumcision. yoy should, however, do stretching exercises. The possibility of a prostate problem makes lots of sense.
Didn't expect anyone to reply , appreciate the help guys.
Sadly symptoms not improving and Urology waiting lists in the UK are crazy long.
Even when I was seen by a private hospital , they couldn't get to the root of the problems.
Have burning stabbing pains at the tip of the penis now, even at rest during night, mainly after urinating or random erections. When I go out and walk it sort of subsides, don't think this Trimethoprim antibiotic is the right medicine for what i need.
Prostatitis is not an indication for circumcision. There is no evidence that circumcision will help with the other things either. Beware the surgeon with a hammer for whom everything looks like a nail.
Circumcision is unlikely to have any direct effect on your prostatitis, which needs its own treatment from a urologist.
It will, however, cure your phimosis (one source of your pains) and remove the dark, moist cavity under the foreskin that acts as a breeding place for many bacterial and fungal infections - some of which _might_ find their way up the urethra to the prostate. Denying the bugs a comfortable breeding ground under the tight foreskin will ensure that one source of problems is permanently eliminated.
