What type of newborn circumcision method will result in the highest circumcision, that is the one with the most inner foreskin preserved? The gomco clamp, the mogen clamp, or the plastibell?

Most 'devices' such as Gomco, Mogen or Plastibell have limitations as to where the cut line will be and how tight the final result. Even more important is the doctor's skill. However the ultimate limitation is that a baby's penis is so small that a millimetre either way in circumcising him at that age will result in quite a difference when he is an adult.

The best way of getting as close as possible to a desired position/tightness is a totally freehand job from an expert doctor.
