ZSR Circumcision video. What other types of circumcisions are there that people had and how does it compare to this? A mogen CLAMP circumcision was another way to do it I was told. I mean who doesn't want a clamp on their peter?
ZSR seems painless and fast, safe, clean cut, little pain. My doctor wants to me under to do it. 90% he was going to take. I just want below the bxo ring and up taken off.
If errect, what is a 90% cut if you have foreskin now? IS that the skin from the bottom of your shaft pulled up to the head? From the mid point up to the head? These doctors tell you nothing and promise the best painless experience...well almost they will say. Mean while the posts here read otherwise.
Share your good/bad examples of the different methods. I think the ZSR method is not done in Canada unless I can find an Indian doctor to do it. Am I wrong? I called clinics and one didn't even know what a ZSR was

I got circumcised with the Pollack method which uses a Mogen clamp,it took maybe 30 minutes from local anaesthetic injections to having the incision glued shut.It was completely pain free,I had practically no post op swelling or pain(apart from nighttime erections)and the glue flaked off by day 10/11…a huge bonus of this method was no stitches or staples.I have no hesitation in recommending the Pollack/Mogen method if you’re looking for a user friendly circumcision experience.
Thanks. That is a method (using the clamp) that is offered here. Not sure what the doctor I saw is going to use. He wanted to put me under and seems to like that for all his patients. He is new out of school so maybe some reason for that I'm not sure of. This clamp sounds similar to a ZSR in the quick and simplicity of it all. I thought doctors used a marker and drew a line, cut on that line and stitched the whole thing. I read lots of posts on stitches being too tight, bumps around them or not being dissolved. Seems like a process without them is better
I can only comment on the Pollock method of circumcision, but the experience was very patient friendly compared to other methods I’ve seen on this site,if you check out the ZSR posts on here there are a huge number of nightmare stories, definitely Google Pollock and see if there’s a doctor near you that uses it…I used these guys they have clinics in several countries and as I say the procedure is practically painless……Gentle Procedures Clinics
I will see if I can find the nightmare posts on zsr. Doctors saying it's painless want you to feel good. What else can they say, "Somebodyis gonna get hurt. Somebody..." lol
Ya both methods are quick. I see that mogen doesn't leave anything in the body like a silicon ring used in zsr I guess. Foreign objects always add some risk. I think I'll keep my bxo as these procedures make me want to toss my cookies. I'm going to try stretching it away. It looks fine and smooth when healed but it tears when stretched a bit and that starts the process over. Stretch it good once and let it heal in the stretched position is the answer. Cured ( I hope). You read the answer here first lol
BTW, love how they toss stats in about the growing popularity of circumcision. Sounds like 1 dr who said sex was better for cut men. Cutting sensation away can never be a good thing. The most painful part is likely the needles. It's a barbaric looking process either way. I saw another clamp in a plastic tube that looks as bad. Zsr might not be the best method but it appears as the most appealing surgical process
Hey,always go the non surgical option if you can,I’d have much preferred not to have been circumcised if it had been possible but in my case the snip was necessary. If you can get away with stretching it you’re lucky👍But if in the end you have to go the surgical route don’t worry too much,it’s not bad,it’s just inconvenient more that anything else…good luck😊👍
You might go for ZSR. This is painless as well and the cut will be clean, less change of swelling. Although, you might need to deal with staples if they don't fall automatically. One more thing, hight and tight cut is not possible using ZSR I guess. Also, you will recover quickly.
I personally feel zsr is the best method to go with bcoz it only takes 10 mins and the cut so super clean, symmetrical and looks very aesthetic very little swelling and overall a faster recovery time compared to others
Ah. I've watched zsr, mogen pollock clamp and one other. Zsr looks the least awful, pollock clamp and some clamp with a tube the head goes inand a knife cuts around it look brutal. Pollock is likely to best I think as it is a straight cut/scrape. Zsr uses a ring which might cause issues with infection.. the other clamp seems like cutting mistakes could happen. I'm holding off in hopes steroid cream and stretching will work. You need to stretch it and keep it stretched as the skin heals if you have bxo or LS and if it's not effecting your urethra. All my doctors said circumcision was the answer but my skin looks good if not stretched for a while ( no jo). Sooo if I stretch it good and then let that heal, it should hopefully heal stretched and stay that way. Like stretching an ear is my plan.
I can’t bear to watch a needle go in an arm… least of all, my arm!! My surgery is booked for 13th July - watching videos of scalpels doing this is really the last thing I want to watch!!! 😬
