glands sticking to clothes after circumcision

I’m on day 20 of my circumcision and just been able to put on some briefs (find it supports more than boxers) I’ve been applying Vaseline but finds my glands are sticking to the briefs. Just wondering how long it’ll last before it stops sticking to clothes and whether it would be best to sleep with them on to get it used to touching some fabric or whether to sleep with nothing on to let the air get to it to help dry it out.

any help would be appreciated or your own experiences, thank you!

hi don’t bother with Vaseline now if it feels dry try some olive oil instead it won’t stick to anything 👍

thanks for your reply I’ll give it a try. Just one last question how long did it take you to be able to put pants on without having to put anything on your glands?

hi I think it was about 7 to 10 days after it was very uncomfortable and sensitive but it get better with time 👍

Yes definitely let yourself become accustomed to touch. You can try 'melonin', a non stick dressing that you could use as padding to stop the tip touching clothes.

What process did you undergo ? Stapler circumcision or any other ?And if stapler, in how many days your pins came out ?
