High I was cosmetically circumcised 18 years ago and my frenulum was left intact. Over time it has become sore having sex. Booked into clinic next Saturday to have it removed. Conflicting advice on recovery time and showering as the surgery is using glue to heal the wound.

Had mine subsequently removed. Good idea.
I'd take the advice of the surgeon. He is in the best position to advise in your case. As for healing time...fren areas are generally the last part of the penis to heal so it could be a slow recovery but nothing ventured, nothing gained!
