Very embarrassing to ask about this, but I read up on phimosis and paraphimosis and I am now starting to worry. My foreskin will not retract past half way of my glans because of how tight my foreskin is and I am very worried that I may need surgery or anything. I might be overthinking but I need your thoughts...

I can retract it perfectly fine when flaccid. Just when I am erect, it's a different story.

Cirkdone. You are not correct when you say “It (phimosis) will NOT resolve itself, neither will it usually fully respond to any form of stretching exercises nor steroid creams.” That is exactly how doctors routinely treat phimosis everywhere else except the USA, where circumcision surgery is a HUGE money-making business so has become the FIRST thing to do instead of the LAST choice in treatment. Stretching exercises and steroid creams are effective in most cases of phimosis.

Hey Man, don't be embarrassed man we all have problems sometimes and it's always good to talk about them. the guys have given you good advice try the stretching first and see how it goes it can take a little while to work and even go to your GP they might prescribe some steroid cream which would help. but when you can retract when flaccid you have a good chance of resolving the tightness. if it doesn't work after some time though don't be worried about seeing a urologist.

Dont get circumcised, there are many stretching techniques for tight foreskins that work.
