ED & painful nocturnal erections

has anyone had or know why youd get painful nocturnal erections? particularly in the glans/head of the penis. the glans dont feel full and heavy, but instead hard and like a nail is being driven into both sides. when flaccid its difficult to get an erection without some discomfort/ less pleasurable sensitivity on the underside of the head/ the frenulum.

Currently experiencing something like this. Feels like a painful stretching almost like papercuts, but there's no external injury. Saw an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who said it may be nerve issues. I am currently a month out of a Balanitis infection so that's my specific cause. They gave me nerve pain medication, but I have not taken it until I see my Urologist.

interesting. Yes it does feel like papercuts . How do they assess for nerve issues? They keep telling me nerve issues don’t spring up out of nowhere.. but I think it might be nerves because I barely get erections now and stimulation feels uncomfortable. I feel touch but not pleasure and things don’t fire up and engorge as they once did.

Hi fellow Aussie, so no circumcision ? When i was intact never had nerve issues just balanitis which well caused a lot of issues. When you have erections is it tight? Must be a reason why that’s happening . There is a lot of nerves down there from my understanding, scary when you think about having something done. Have you seen a urologist?

no circumcision or operations. Really don’t know what it could be. Seeing a urologist soon.
