I’m 11 days post op now and met with my consultant this morning. Very reassuring that he’s pleased… you hope all is going to pan but to have it confirmed is great!
Apparently the wound is healing well, I can expect the stitches to drop out between week 3-4 and the swelling (quite significant down right side) will take about 3 months to settle.
The night pains seem to have subsided in the last two nights. Still getting night erections but much less painful (or I’m more use to them!) they lasted about 4 nights where I couldn’t sleep so this is so much better!
Generally now is sometimes a little sore, and generally just overly sensitive. For the past week or so, I’ve mostly been wearing super loose shorts… and am now beginning to think I might try returning to underwear and try returning to a more normal life!
Would welcome thoughts from you guys when you managed to do this, and whether I’m at risk of trying to rush this!

Congratulations and glad it's all going well. Next stage is to toughen the head up and get it and your brain used to the head being permanently exposed. You can take the slow road and keep protecting it or you can get it over and done with quickly. Personally, I went commando so it got used to it and it was over in a few weeks. Guys who've protected it can still be complaining about oversensitivity 6 months later. Your choice, it will happen eventually. Enjoy your new toy and welcome to the club
Thanks buddy - for much of the last couple of weeks I’ve hardly been dressed… and the times I did could only cope for an hour or two - think this was more wound related than sensitivity. Has been trying to point him upwards in tight briefs as recommended and just not working for me! I’m a little on the large side and got quite uncomfortable!!
Last couple of days I’ve started getting dressed - wearing CK boxer briefs and just putting my cock as I normally would - downwards. At times is overly sensitive but am coping much better. No “extra” protection for the glans as I figured I’d just need to learn to get use to this.

Welcome. The keeping it upright thing is to reduce swelling I gather - I didn't either but not cos I'm large, it just wouldn't stay there! Anyway, sounds like the boxers will do the trick, by the time you can use him again you'll probably not even be aware of it - mostly
I'll get shot for this but you can do it a bit sooner with this method? Get into the foetal position so as much of your dick is 'inside' as possible then just gently massage the head - i.e. not rubbing your hand up and down over the new scar tissue. After 3 or 4 weeks of not masturbating it takes about 3 strokes!
Well I will have my post op check on Sunday 31th, but been with him over a phone and I've send him few pics via WhatsApp. He keeps saying that everything is "ok". I just keep thinking that, he says that just so I do not panic nor to admit that he fucked up my dick. Am really in bad place now
Sorry buddy!! Mine looked like a car crash from day 2-6 or 7. But the bruising has 90% gone and the swelling is now mostly just one bulge down right hand side of shaft - my consultant tells me could take 3 months for that to go.
Lots of guys I’ve spoken with have taken much longer to return to anything near normal - don’t panic yet!!
Still I think a bit swollen around. The scar line… but difficult to tell as I don’t yet know what it should look like!! It’s like I have a new cock and i’m just not use to it yet!!
31st isn’t long to wait buddy - but I get that we get anxious over whether our manhood is OK!! I did the other day and arranged an urgent video appt so he could take a proper look!
Could you do something like that or maybe see your usual Doctor just to get it checked out before then?
For me a big part of problem is I don’t know what it’s supposed to look like at this point - it might actually be OK buddy!! Just get someone to take a look as soon as you can so you don’t have to worry too much.

I can’t tell if that’s just swelling… and if it is it will go back down again. I know this is a really stressful thing to have done - and I’ve felt that too and panicked a bit myself over the last couple of weeks!!
I know someone else has said that’s just how his looked and all settled down… so just try to be calm buddy… all will be OK but this is emotional and stressful process!
