Nighttime erections after circumcision

Hi Guys,

10 days since my circumcision. Was forced to go to hospital the day after I had it done as it wouldn’t stop bleeding. Doctor reckoned it was due to erections in the night which depressed me… there’s no way i can stop that.

Every night i’m still getting elections and on occasion there’s a tiny bit of blood on my thighs, i’m guessing from the strain. Anyone else has this, and if so when does it stop?

Advice I got was pee often as a full bladder can trigger more erections and to sleep with your knees raised so in a foetal position, I had my surgery a week ago and I’m struggling too, as soon as I can get out of bed I do as it seems to reduce the now semi, I read Sudafed reduces erections but not sure how true that is and how much it would help as you’re likely to be in a deeper sleep.

Thanks pal. So many drug’s out there to give you erections and barely anything to stop them, it’s a strange world

Cheers boss, erections are still there each night (I guess I'm glad to say) but no blood at all so touch wood I'm getting there

I’m in same situation as you. They wake me up and are a bit painful but do whatever I can to get them to go away. I’ve also found that my penis is more sensitive in the mornings which I think is because the stitches have been pulled/stretched with the erections.

I’m also experiencing some blood through the day but not a lot and there is no pain. From what I’ve read here this is just part of the healing process and that the penis has had a trauma which it can take a while to heal from.
