Let's discuss circumcision and size loss.

Lots on here - but I for one would like a central thread debating this. Weighing up those who feel to have lost length. Reassurance from those who have not.

For me - For the first four weeks of so, there was a length loss of about half to 3/4 inch when erect. However, once the stitches fell out and the wound healed, the lost length has returned. When flaccid it does look a bit shorter, but then that bit of loose foreskin that use to dangle there is gone, so naturally enough it would be!

When the swelling went down after my circumcision, I found that I'd lost nearly one and half inches from my length when erect. It's been 10 months now and although I've got some length back it's not what it was before so guess this is how it's going to be. Also find that my ball sack hangs further forward on my shaft. On the plus side, my cock looks better flaccid than it did before.

Quite a lot to loose. You must have been a good size to start with. I'm 6in erect. This would render me 4.5.

Well I was 7 before even now I barely reach 6 sometimes. Mind you older skin doesn't stretch and recover the same. At least I can still get it up and it's not painful during sex masturbation any more

I lost a little bit for a few months but it all came back with proper care for the scar believe. I used bio oil pretty regularly. I even feel like I'm thicker now. I think that it's because those veins got cut and capped 🤷‍♂️ I don't know but when I look at photos of me before I looked a lot thinner

Same here. Think I look thicker both flaccid and erect but still miss the extra length. Glad yours came back tho

Yeah I went from "9 and only 5" thick. I lost about an inch to 8" got my length back at 9" but my penis is now 5.6" girth 🤷‍♂️ I'll take it.

I was always a grower with quite a bit of foreskin which maybe contributed to the length. Like you I've gone from 5'' to 5.7'' in girth so can't really complain

Had a read of your earlier posts. Wondered if you ever lost the scarring? It's 10 months for me now and I've still got some redness which shows worse after any kind of sexual activity.

Still a little scar but it looks great now. I took care. People tell me it looks like I was cut at birth. I don't know if that's true or they're being nice lol

No it looks pretty neat in the photo and probably even better now so a tidy job from your surgeon. I won't mind being left with a little bit of a scar if the redness goes and maybe my missing inch back. Haha

Yeah now that it's all healed few years now it looks great. Tell your Dr to leave some of the inner skin

After reading these comments I’m clearly in the minority… but I just got circumcised about 6 weeks ago and like many others said, when the stitches are in you lose a bit of length until it heals. But I swear my dick has actually grown in size, I don’t have any scientific evidence to back it up whatsoever, but I feel like my foreskin was holding the growth back to prevent pain (I had phimosis). I don’t ever remember measuring my dick at 7 inches but that’s where I am today, and my last measurement from what I can recall was just over 6 inches. Again, I have zero evidence/ science to back up this claim but it’s just my experience.

Lucky man. I feel like mine is thicker but definitely not as long. I had phimosis too and glad to be free of it

Mine definitely feels like it got thicker as well, it was the first thing I noticed and it’s why I got out the measuring tape haha. I’m definitely feeling lucky! Fuck foreskin

Yes I feel better without the foreskin as well. Apart from looking chunkier also think it looks better

I fully agree with HarryMarry. I actually found my glan has grown bigger and thicker too after circumcise. Now looks like a mushroom head. May be the foreskin kept inside preventing from expanding.

Well I had phimosis and never was able to pull the skin back. Since the surgery I feel like mine is bigger than ever before 😂 I’ve had no problems getting or maintaining an erection, it feels more “full” now because there’s no skin holding it back

I was circumsized just over 3 months ago. Definitely looks and feels at times like it is shorter. Could all just perspective with the new look. My wife also says it's the same. She would probably be a better judge to be honest. Still convinced I'm down at least half an inch though

It is something that never occurred to me before being circumcised or years afterwards. Never noticed any difference other temperature differences when flaccid which is normal. I never measured my penis before or after. I would say it is pretty much the same, when flaccid its size is of no importance, when erect it looks much larger, more useful and wicked. My foreskin completely retracted on erection, and wasn't that long when flaccid so its contribution to length was minimal.

I am 12 weeks post surgery. I have lost almost an inch in length however I am thicker now. I was not born with a large penis, prior to surgery I was around 6.5 in, not anymore.

My incision is still a little sensitive to the touch but no where like it was. However since the surgery, I now have penoscrotal webbing. It now starts at my furnum. It is not as painful as it was a month ago. It has stretched some but is still annoying. When I'm having sex, I can't grind against my wife or have her on top of me due to the skin pulling.

My Urologist says it's fine and I need to wait a year for it to fully stretch. I'm not saying he is lying however I'm trying to get a second opinion with a specialist out in Boston, MA. I don't want to go through another surgery but I may not have a choice.

It's been a few months and wanted to post an update. I was able to see a Urologist out in Boston and he agreed that my circumcision resulted in penoscrotal webbing. I had a scrotaplasty surgery 4 weeks ago and although I have not had sex yet, the erections I have had are not as uncomfortable.

When the surgery was performed, they medically make me erect to know how much of the webbing to remove. I wish they did this for my circumcision surgery.

My scarring from the circumcision is still raised and some areas are a little bigger than others. I just started using Bio Oil after 24 weeks post op. I don't know if it will help or not.

I will report back in a month or two with another update.

2 years ago before being cut i was 13 cm erect, now 11 cm (lost almost 1 inch). flacid i now have retracted penis wich is between 2.5 to 4 cm
