Day 8
In Spanish (use google translator):
Fui circuncidado hace 1 año y 4 meses aproximadamente. Los primeros días es normal lo que cuentas, y sé que es difícil . Solo haz caso a tu doctor.
Yeah I experienced the same thing try putting some Vaseline on the scabs so it doesn’t stick directly to it but it’s bound to happen
Oh yeah,I’m 4 months in and I remember the fear of dressing changes, the best solution is to fill a glass/cup with lukewarm salty water and soak your penis in this until the dressing loosens up and the gunk softens…much less painful. Also keep on with the twice daily saltwater soaks up until the end of week 6,this will also keep everything clean and lift off scabs, dead skin, blood blisters etc off your glans as it heals.
I was told after the first week to take bandage off and let it heal on its on. If you keep applying bandages it will take longer to heal.
I guess it’s different from doctor to doctor..mine told me to keep doing it 2x a day for the first 4 weeks and then stop.I did what he said and had a fine post op experience,no pain,no infection..
Paraffin gauze dressing like 'Jelonet' prevents woven gauze stuck into dried wound discharge and stitches. Saline bath is good still.

I ditched the bandage on day two as it kept falling off. I used non stick dressing as a padding instead. Vaseline also helped. Daily cleaning in alt water and clean tight underwear saw me through.
Definitely, the tight underwear helped keep things still. less movement meant less pain.BTW that should read salt water. Alt is a small river near here and I would definitely NOT recommend cleaning anything in there !
😄
No it is fine. You can put a tea spoon in a container and 'swish' it around. or I put about half cupful in warm bath. I would recommend the salt but mild baby soap in the bath water works also.
If you apply a thin coating of vaseline, or some bland ointment, to the cut line before bandaging then it is less likely to stick on removal.
Also, always soak the bandage off, unwinding it bit by bit as the water loosens the caked on blood.

My doc recommended Stratamed gel for my incision wound,it’s a gel that reduces scarring and keloids and forms a barrier to infection and also soothes any redness, irritation etc.I’ve been using it for 6weeks now and it does seem to do the job very well.Definitely worth a look
