Looking OK so far. I'd suggest tighter underwear to prevent it moving around and so you can keep it propped upwards to assist drainage and reduce swelling. Vaseline is up to you, is it comfortable/bearable so far? You might want to consider a wrap made of low adherence Melanin dressing to protect it and catch any blood spots.

No issues at all really

I’d probably leave it as is as I’m doing ok atm

Keep an eye on the level of blood flow to the penis galns

I’m sure it’s ok. They should tell you these things on discharge

Ok great

Yes, you should be given much more information on discharge. However, Inter-Circ has a booklet of medically approved additional advice that answers many of the questions that folk bring to places like this.

Incidentally, you would do well to trim your pubic hair so that it is completely clear of the area of the circumcision and cannot get into the wound, or caught under bandages.

I think the wound is well covered, I’ve tried to shave down there before but made it bleed. I cut a bit off a few months ago as well

Don't SHAVE your pubes, but use scissors to trim them shorter.

I’m in no pain. Which I am strongly surprised about

Circumcised40 profile image

Just watch for the blood flow to the glans it’s important some doctors give more instructions are give less

in reply toGatallica777

That’s good to hear, I think I said you might not have pain from the wound itself, only the sensitivity

I think I have ED I’ve probably had it over 15 years. Erections have been week since then. Do you think it could be the surgery too that it is this colour? Unfortunately doctors are closed due to corona bullshit

Gatallica777 profile image
Gatallica777

Could be cancer?

in reply toGatallica777

Look, stop panicking. One thing you’ll notice early is that the glans changes colour/tone all the time depending on how much blood there is inside (state of election). Fully flaccid is typically grey or flesh coloured, some blood will make it pink or reddish and a full erection purple.

The photo was taken two days post-circumcision so highly likely it was fully flaccid then.

I’m panicking based on what someone said. But the colour did concern me. I’m sure it will be fine

in reply toGatallica777

Have a look at his other posts and draw your own conclusions with regards to his expertise and knowledge of the matter. However if you do have concerns about the colour and if it remains that shade then checking with a medical professional will kill it.

M happy to monitor it for a few days I’ve not experienced half of what I’ve been told. I think I’m doing ok atm but if I notice any concerns I’ll try take myself down to a and e if it’s open that is

in reply toGatallica777

You’ve been lucky

Gatallica777 profile image
Gatallica777 in reply toCircumcised40

I’m scared to touch it tbh just sprinkle a bit of water on the head to clean

Gatallica777 profile image
Gatallica777

Some people find it harder to deal with things tbh. I have disabilities. It all happened so quick along with everything else going on. But I’m stronger then I know so I’ll be alright

Hi Man, if you have any concerns you should consult your surgeon or GP. your glans in the photo is quite pale in colour you could have this checked out.

Gatallica777 profile image
Gatallica777 in reply toMrMac99

Yes I know. But GP surgery isn’t open. And if I wanted to see surgeon I’d have to make an appointment and that would take months. The check up is in June

MrMac99 profile image

Give your GP a call on Monday and see what they think, I'm sure they would be able to get an appointment sooner if they think you need it.

Just going to monitor

you might want to check with your doctor, it looks as if the blood flow isn't there..

Gatallica777 profile image
Gatallica777 in reply tovespass180

On which part? I’m barely able to touch it without being scared I was kinda hoping it would heal naturally

in reply toGatallica777

Bio oil on the scar line once the stitches have dropped off, not before

Gatallica777 profile image
Gatallica777 in reply to

Ok thanks

vespass180 profile image
vespass180 in reply toGatallica777

where the stitches are..you need to keep it moist

in reply tovespass180

I’ve never heard of this and would be interested to know why?

apeters profile image
apeters

There is no particular reason to keep the stitches moist. They are NOT dissolved by water but only by enzymes brought to the site by your lymph system.
