Post Circumcision Day 4

Hello everyone, glad I found this forum. Anyways I had phimosis hence a circumcision on Sunday. Right now I feel like there is something wrong, my dick is swollen a lot. Look at the pictures. Also, whenever I get erections at night a bit of blood comes out. I cannot touch the head of the cut site as it hurts. Keep in mind I have some ointment on the cut site and head so pics may look a bit weird. But when i removed the bandage on the second day, it looked way better than it does now.

Best advice is to keep it pointing upwards as much as possible to reduce swelling (i.e. gravity helps the fluid drain). Ice would help if it were a sprain but will only really benefit you by easing pain temporarily, try it by all means if you can stand it.

Blood spotting is normal for first week or two, best to get yourself some low adherent absorbent dressing (Melolin) and hold it in place with Micropore tape perhaps. That might be less messy than Vaseline or whatever you have on it.

I’m guessing your pain is down to hypersensitivity of the glans penis touching anything which will subside and become comfortable in a week or two.

It's still new, so do not disturb it very much. Rest as much as you can or at least give a space for the wounds in case you have to move a lot.

Started to look good now, swelling decreasing enormously, head still very sensitive and hurts whenever i wear clothes or anything touches it
