Partial Circumcision - Best of both worlds?

As the title says I would like to throw some light on the Partial Circumcision that I have undergone 4 weeks ago and would like to share my thoughts on this (so far). I read a lot of online medical blogs etc and most of them suggest staying away from Partial Circumcision, so I decided to share my experience on this. Just to note here that I had a partial circumcision along with frenuloplasty (a loose frenulum).

Basically first of all what is partial circumcision and how is it different from full or normal circumcision? In partial circumcision, the surgeon takes off only part of your foreskin for a number of reasons such as for treating phimosis, Balanitis, or may be just for aesthetics. In this procedure, your penile glans are not exposed at flaccid and covered either 50% or more during this state. The skin glides back automatically behind the corona of glans during erection (ideally).

Post-procedure - The post-procedure recovery and pain is significantly lower than compared to the full circumcision procedure due to the fact that your foreskin is there to help take most of the sensitivity issues. The only time you will feel the pain/sensitivity is during the erection when the skin glides back. I personally had quite a pain/sensitivity issue on the penis tip (uretha), this is because I had quite a bad balanitis and hence it is taking some time to recover.

I am doing regular foreskin stretching exercises while taking shower two times a day with warm water. I tried masturbation for the first time in 4 weeks and it was quite a pain-free (obviously I had a condom on to avoid direct hand contact which is still a bit painful as I am still on early phase of recovery).

To conclude - I am not sure why many websites suggest not to go partial circumcision, personally I am quite happy with the looks of my male brain as well as the fact that I glide my foreskin if I want and take it back up. If anybody would like to discuss this in detail feel free to comment here or DM me. To conclude I think if you want to keep experiencing sex as an uncircumcised man but have to treat your phimosis or balanitis problem then I would suggest going for the Partial Circumcision pathway as the recovery is definitely hell lot easier and pain-free.
