Swearing is not respectful and it will ultimately see people who persist in it have their accounts restricted. A recent member who was prone to such behaviour has achieved that distinction.
During a recent conversation with that member he commented that I was probably pro COVID vaccination. I am. As someone with leukaemia I would be stupid not to be. What caused him to comment on that topic I do not know but his stance is in keeping with his recent posts.
During that same conversation that member indicated that he had had private messages from others - “I’ve had messaged from other members saying your a moron”. Perhaps those members might message me and explain in what way my work on this forum is moronic
I'm saddened to read your post, Osidge. I sincerely wish you well with your condition, and hope it is being well treated and kept under control, and will continue to be so. I appreciate that you work hard on behalf of forum members, and it is quite unacceptable that you be subjected to any form of abuse. You take care. Sine
Osidge, you've been a great help to me and many others here, particularly with your sensible advice to see doctors if you're really concerned. Sorry you've got abuse on this topic which just seems to bring the worst out of people. Personally I'll be hammering the NHS website tomorrow to book my booster as they're changing the booking rules and I want mine before Christmas. Having lost several family members to COVID including two in their forties I'm great ready to go into battle on the subject!
