Yes. The rubber band effect can be more common with these disposable clamps and rings, because the symmetrical scar line is wider than with traditional scalpel and stitches -method.
Normal scar is first inelastic and reddish. The rubber band feeling disappeared and I didn't noticed it anymore around 6 months post-op.
