Hi its been 4 months post op and there is still some swelling on the incision line, i am getting a little bit worried as it doesn't look like it will go away. Any suggestions?

If you have any concerns contact your doctor. Dressing with your penis pointing up to your belly button might help as it will aid lymph drainage. So may tight underwear. We all react differently to surgery so it might just take time. Are you sexually active again? If so, try abstaining (including masturbating) for a couple of weeks

Have you tried using something like bio oil to massage into your scar?

I haven't tried that yet, can I use coconut oil and apply around the swelling and incision line?

You need to be massaging it in and not just applying it.

How much is a lot of swelling, I’d go to my doctor, in my case the swelling did not go down and I ended up having to have a second circumcision, I lost a lot of inner foreskin and had to go through the healing process all over again, thankfully I had zero swelling this time and I’m very pleased with how it looks like, I just wish I hadn’t lost so much inner foreskin as a lot of sensitivity was lost also, especially when receiving oral sex, it feels like 10% of the pleasure I used to feel before my surgery.

Six months with zero progress. I got 2 recommendations to get a second surgery

Im currently deciding to under go a revision circumcision. My doctor left a little bit to much skin for my liking and still have the lymph fluid swelling ring around above the scar line. Im only 2 months out and will be waiting at least 6 months before I decide. My doctor suggested to drain the liquid but afraid it might come back. Can you let me know a little more about your situation and how was the process? Thanks!

I still have a swelling ring after 4 months , and it kinda bothers me so I’ll probably check with the doctor and wait for another 2 months

Same here. Been 2.5 months post op.. Still swelling below frenulum and below glans.. Doesn't seem to go away. Also I tried to masturbate today. My glans has lost its sensitivity completely. I don't feel any pleasure while rubbing it. Sad.. I had to vigorously go up and down my shaft to ejaculate... It's really sad that the pleasure has reduced drastically.

For me my glans are still sensitive, you should try using some lube like coconut oil to masturbate should help

I don't feel anything when I touch my glans, also the frenulum area has no sensitivity... Yes I used coconut oil... It only helps to give the gliding action... I think this low and tight cut reduces the sensitivity completely.. Sad... I shouldn't have got it done but this was the only option to get rid of phimosis
