Here is some information that should help you. You need to see a doctor.nhs.uk/conditions/phimosis/

Hi man you are certainly not alone brother. I advise you to book an appointment when you are able to see your GP to be examined and possibly prescribed some steroid cream to help stretch the tight foreskin but you must remember that if you are prescribed the steroid creams it is a slow process and is not a permanent fix. You must also remember that you need to stretch the foreskin in the bath daily warm water daily exercises to help stretch the foreskin. Do not force the foreskin back especially if it causes pain or discomfort take your time no rush. Rushing or lack of patients can result in tighter foreskin scar tissue etc. Surgery is a possibility but it all depends what stage your phimosis is at and surgery should be treated as a last option which you must be happy to get surgery and not forced into getting it do all the research possible. (Phimosis=tight foreskin) I was diagnosed with tight foreskin at the age of 18 had surgery when I was 19 or so around last year. I was never fake to retract my foreskin to expose the glans and j got impatient and badly wanted my glans back so please don’t be impatient and try stretching the skin and stay in contact with a GP.

I wish you all the best man on your journey. Anything you need give us a shout and we will be more than happy to give you our support and our experience of what we went through and how we fit it resolved. Medical concerns and diagnosis should be done by a medical professional such as your doctor or urologist.

Your doctor is in a far more better position to help. Do look at phimosis and possible frenulum breve and please do contact your doctor.

I had phimosis too, went to a doctor and he said I needed circumcision. I did it about a week after, currently on day 8, it is very sensitive, so I recommend that you should get circumcised at a time where you are most free.

Everyone’s experience of phimosis is not the same. Your needs are not necessarily the same as others. Your advice does not mirror best practice.

Ignore advice suggesting you amputate the most sensitive tissue on your body .... concentrate on stretching the opening enough to permit normal retraction, except let us know how tight you are. Can you get a small finger or two inside ... If so, tug in opposite directions. Hold the tug for up to a minute, then repeat several times every day. In time you'll encourage the growth of new skin cells which will result in easy retraction. I dare say most doctors advise amputation, because that benefits them, too $$$

Even if it is medically advised? Using emotive words doesn’t help either. How about telling the individual how long it will take, if he did what you suggest? That at least would be helpful.

Length of time depends entirely on how tight and how loose the foreskin is ... as they vary considerably. Some men can retract when flaccid (but not erect), while the opening of other men's foreskin might be barely 1/8 inch. Time required also depends on how often and how faithfully a man "stretches". It's just common sense.

It really depends on how tight. In my youth I never had a problem, but have had a couple of episodes of tightness in my fifties and sixties - and skin 'cracking'. I've usually found regular masturbation (ie every three days or so) and twice daily massaging with coconut oil has prevented the tightness I used to get as I got older and the skin got generally drier all over. Very. glad I never needed to seriously consider. circumcision.

definitely try stretching first, steroid creams may help.It will depend how bad it is and what age you are. But treat surgery as a last resort.

Good luck
