It has been a week since my circumcision (phimosis). Both the glans and a small part above the incision swell when I stand or sit. I am using paraffin and instillagel (dilute lignocaine as suggested by doctor). When I lay down with the penis pointing towards feet, it relaxes back to normal, though the skin appears a bit swollen. There is some whitish yellow discharge collection on the glans and the suture line, Doesn't look infected, no pain, no bleeding, no redness or constricting swelling, is this normal. My glans is super sensitive and I have been naked and at home the entire week.
I have been washing gently with water while I shower. Is there anything I should be doing? any suggestions for good healing and hygiene
Thanks for any insights.

Hi mate hope you are well as can be. You sound perfectly fine mate totally normal of yourself have any serious concern please contact your doctor or surgeon for advise or diagnosis as we are not doctors unfortunately. Just remember keep it clean and dry after your 3rd day you should of removed the bandage and shower daily warm clean water and a jug of warm salty water for your penis to help keep it clean. When you pee try to avoid it dribbling down into open wounds or scab areas use a clean hand towel dab the corner under clean warm water and dab your pee slot hole to keep it clean and dry. Try using Vaseline if you haven’t already all over the glans incision line and frenulum area this will cushion the penis as you have a sensitive glans due to your phimosis as the same as myself time will pay off and help to decrease it to a point where it is bearable enough to walk around and use sexually. To reduce swelling you can place the penis upright towards yourselffo allow the swelling to go down. Use clean bandages and gauzes if it’s still dripping etc and using gauzes will hell protect the glans while you heal so it’s more comfortable do you can sit right sleep well etc. Once you’ve healed enough you can take the plunge to stop using bandages and gauzes then try to wear underwear and allow the glans to get used gk rubbing and get comfortable with touch of clothing. After a shower to help reduce sensitivity get a clean bath towel that is soft lightly touch the glans against it once and a while and it will help but use a hair dryer to help keep it dry not too hot.
Great explanation. I am on day 9 post surgery due to a diagnosis of L.psoriasis, causing phimosis. I have had very minimal pain, and yes the gland is sensitive. Been using supportive jocks with low adhesive wound pads to soften contact with glad. Seems to assist, but slowly reducing and change wound pad daily. I also was told to use 1% chlorsig eye ointment on suture line. Seems to work, with no infection as it is an antibiotic lotion.
