Stitches under skin?

3 months after circumcision operation. There was a part of inner skin/ scar line that was causing me discomfort/pain so started using bio oil to massage scar line. After massaging saw some small black material emerge and what looks like hole where stitch/skin was appear. Have been using bio oil 2/3 times a day and seen more black material emerging. Is this from stitches/sutures that hasn’t dissolved under the skin being brought up to the surface. Don’t know what else it could be

Do you think this would have had a significant impact on healing post surgery. I feel like I have hit a plateau for a while and was wondering if needing the stitches to completely dissolve is what I need?

That could be. Your body is now getting rid of the sutures - foreign bodies - and that can only help.
