Swelling

Hi. I had a circumcision 6 days ago. I still have quite a bit of swelling particularly underneath. Is this normal?

You are very, very early in the healing process. Swelling is very normal.

Yes, the swelling is normal, especially on the underside. It lasted for 5-6 weeks for me when I was cut last October. It was the last area to heal. Hang in there. Don't panic. Once the stitches are out and the skin heals you can use bio oil or scar gel on it. For now, I would just be careful not to irritate it.

Hope it’s getting better now but yes swelling takes awhile. I’m about a month post-op and still have some swelling

I am already 6 months in post surgery the swelling is still there though the healing is taking place slowly.

Wth , still swelling after 6 months , the inner skin is painful and sensitive
