My stitches are still on it. Please help me

It is 17 days after circumcison and my stitches are still on it. so I phoned my doctor and he said that it is not necessary to remove stitches .It will go by own itself. But I'm a little worry about that. How long does it take for stitches to be remove ? Should I worry about that? Or it will disappear after fully recover? Please help me with your experiences.....

If you bathe your penis in salt water it should help the stitches dissolve.

Stitches usually fall off from week 2-4. Don’t stress.

I hear you.Do the salt water bathing of the penis, and once dry moisturise with petroleum jelly or E52 cream or something.

Hey bro you have nothing to worry about all my stitches where gone after about 10 days but there was one left for about 3 weeks I’m on a month today and everything is healed and as for not having a bath in my experience bro I took a bath 2 days after my surgery and every other day after that just to let it air out for abit I suggest having bath tho keep it clean and then let it air for abit

Its been one month and the stitches are still intact and they usually pokes when its erect

Yeah. I was concerned also but my doc said to just wait. A bunch of them came off for me around week 6. The last two came off for me during week 8.

They can be a bit uncomfortable, but let them do their job. They will either dissolve or fall off over time.

Thank you I was concerned as my stitches are still intact and its been a month and I am too uncomfortable
