help please

when flaccid i can pull my foreskin back but when erect it hurts and i can barely pull it over the head of the penis any help?

You will need to go and see your doctor. You will be properly diagnosed and possibly started on exercises to stretch your foreskin using a prescribed steroid cream. nhs.uk/conditions/phimosis/

You have what’s known as Phimosis. This can result in an infection known as BalanitisYou are at risk of needing Circumcision .

How do I know this ?

It happened to me and now I am in my second week after being Circumcised.

You could try stretching in a hot bath. This worked for me. Pull it back as far as comfortable and hold it there. Release and do it again.

I am currently going through the same thing and the Dr hasn't diagnosed anything like phimosis, just said it can happen. He has tried me on several creams and none have worked and so now I am being referred to a urologist as may need a circumcision or part one. I hope not as I love having a foreskin and up until 6m ago it retracted fully no problem but now only does so when flaccid. So, get yourself to the Dr and see what he says as we are all different and phimosis may not be the problem at all. Good luck.

I had this problem for years and could her it back only flaccid with warm water and it would take a few tries to get it back. The problem is that it’s time consuming and still causes some pain discomfort. You also risk the foreskin getting stuck behind the glands if you get slightly erect while the skin is back and it gets stuck. This can be very scary and painful as it gets stuck under the glands and traps the blood in the head of Penis. You need to gently squeeze the head if this happens to push the blood back down to get the foreskin back up. This happened to me several times and can turn into a medical emergency. I also did not want to get cut but after all these problems I opted for it. Still healing now but I can tell that I will be likely happy with the decision.

Thanks Ben and glad things have worked out for you. Mine seems to be improving at the minute for some strange reason so I am just seeing how it goes and due to covid the appointment with the urologist still hasn't come through anyway. Good luck.
