hello i am 16 years old and i find it painful to pull my foreskin back. however when engaging in sexual intercourse or oral sex the foreskin comes down and feels alright during sex. it’s just when i’m on my own it hurts to pull down so i usually don’t pull it down during masturbation.

The picture below shows how far i pull it back comfortably.

Hey, do you use any kind of lubrication when you are masturbating you should be able to move your foreskin up and down freely even when fully erect. if you keep trying and stretching the skin it should improve.

I doubt he's using lube.

No He probably is not using lub but I feel it's just a little tight and it should improve in time. he should keep masturbating and doing some stretching.

That condition is called phimosis but I'm not sure if you have it. The fact that you said that your foreskin retracts during sexual intercourse or oral sex but not while masturbating is strange.

First of all, could you describe to us the way you masturbate?

And is it the frenulum, the band connecting the foreskin to your penis that hurts? If your foreskin can retract past the tip of the glans, can you see a certain part of the foreskin that is too tight? If so, that's called the phimotic ring. Is your glans super sensitive?

But do check out phimosis journey and dilateforeskin

Your condition is not necessarily phimosis as your foreskin retracts during intercourse. If you use lube for masturbation and you still can’t retract your foreskin, you need to consult a doctor.

Yeah. I tried to be careful to not say that this guy has phimosis but to also give a word that they can Google.

Best not to diagnose at all.

You should really pull it down at all time. You might have a not severe phimosis that's why the structure of the vagina makes your skin go down but that could be dangerous as you can't really "see" what happens in there and one day a paraphimosis may occur.

I really suggest you to go to the doctor.

Let us know how it goes!

Now that I see this with a fresh mind, I think this is phimosis. The phimotic ring is the part that is tight. You've got to be careful when your foreskin retracts as it might not go back up. That's called para-phimosis. I'm guessing that it hasn't happened to you but it probably doesn't go up and down smoothly.

I mentioned your masturbation method in my other post as Dr Beauge has found that some men with phimosis masturbate *differently*, some without using their hands. Do a quick Google and you'll see his paper on it.

Can you retract you foreskin when soft without pain.

hi, do not listen to the advice that tells you to stretch and wait, it will not work.

You have a phimosis.

Talk to your parents or go alone to your GP, you probably have to be circumcised, it's a very small operation and you will feel free, you will be able to have a normal sex life.

Question from a cut male just for info: If it retracts easily during oral or vaginal (or anal?) sex but not during masturbation, or if it is difficult to retract all the time, will it get tighter and the end hole become smaller, possibly down to a pinhole? Does the foreskin "want" to get tighter and make the end hole smaller? So is it up to the owner to retract and stretch and slide and lube and steroid cream? When do adhesions begin between the head and the foreskin, and are those due to lack of retraction?
