11 Days after my circumcision

Hey there! It's been 11 days since my op and i'm a bit insecure about how is healing. I had my revision with the doc 4 days after and he said it was healing perfectly. There was no infection and just a bit of swelling in the frenulum part. After a few days an edema apeared in the right part and the swelling got bigger and two wounds showed up with a bit of white/yellow crust. Also none stitch has fallen off yet. The doc said me in the revision that I had to be using gauze and it had to be compressed in order to not allow the swelling, but even doing that the edema apeared. I do not have another visit with the doc till next week and I don't now if I have to be using gauze every day or not use it anymore, if I have to do something with the edema or not. Any advise?

Hey there! I'm on day 16. I must say that most of my progress came between day 12 and 14. My staples fell out and the wound is visibly closing / healing by the day. My doc told me I didn't need to keep gauze / bandage on mine after day 9 (just Vaseline). But I will / have continued to until tomorrow I think (apron. 17 days in total). If you keep the wound doused in Vaseline and wrapped up this is the ideal healing environment (from my own experience). Keep your penis upright against your body as this will help it drain any swelling.

If I were you in your situation, I would continue to keep the area clean, wrap it well with gauze and Vaseline applied, and wear tight underwear. My final word of advice being only a few days ahead of yourself, is to just be patient, I felt very disheartened at day 10 because of my slow progress but things will be getting much better for you in the next week or so

Edit: Because of the revision you may find you're a few extra days behind so just stick with it!
