Lump on head.

Hi I have a lump on the head of my penis . It’s been there for a long time, probably a few years. It’s very slowly increasing in size. For the past week I’ve had pain and burning in the head of my penis and bladder. I’ve been checked for uti and infection and everything is clear . The pain is all around the head but more specifically on the lump. I’m just wondering if it’s the lump causing the problem or something else.

Am I allowed to post a picture of it here, I tried to google it but can’t find a match .

You certainly need to get medical advice. Really does not sound normal.

I’ve seen 2 doctors in the last week and had 2 lots of blood and urine samples come back perfect. They couldn’t figure it out. I’ll probably have to see another one. 🤷‍♂️

A dermatologist may take a biopsy to get a diagnosis.

If you have not done so already, then see a specialist - either a urologist or a dermatologist. Years ago, I had prostatitis and it was misdiagnosed as UTI. They gave me all kinds of meds and nothing was happening. Then they sent me to a urologist, and within a split second, he knew what was going on.

I’m wondering if the bump is pushing down on the urethra and not allowing full emptying when you urinate. I’d for sure see a doctor and good luck.

I really don’t know why pics are not allowed. Pictures mean 1000 words here. We all are in here trying to describe things or understand how something looks. It’s ridiculous.

Seen my local gp. He said it looks like a cyst . Also said if it’s not growing and there’s only one that I’m ok. He reckons it was sore as I possibly had internal thrush and my whole head was burning.

Are you happy with the doctor’s response? No proposed treatment for the cyst?
