Hi,

Most of the ring has dropped, except for 5 pins. I had asked my clinic they are saying to wait for 6-7 days more. Does it really takes that much of time for the ring to drop completely? Or I'm a special case. Also my penis feels smaller than before in erect state. (an inch or 2 ) I have read couple of posts that it is normal and things will be better by 6th-8th week post op. Is it true ?

As I understand it, the ZSR ring of pins can take much longer to come out than stitches usually do, so your clinic's advice to wait the full month is probably just right.

Circumcision does not, and cannot, make your penis any shorter (except for the irrelevant overhang of the former foreskin). However some of its length can be hidden by swelling so that as the swelling subsides the penis will appear to get longer until back to its natural size.

I was hoping they would manually remove them ! I guess i have to wait for another week.

I don't think it is as easy for the staple ring to be removed at the clinic as it is to remove stitches.

Same mine..i got zsr circumcision on 9.10.20

.the ring came off on day 12,swelliing is reduced 70% almost...scar is pinkish and seems bloody...

My question does ur skin comes over glans when in Flaccid condition?

It does come and cover the glan slightly not much. I have similar condition with the scar it's pink and looks kind of swollen.

And just yesterday ring started to get detach

Just 2 pins i see..

When did your ring start to fall off?

Entire ring is still remaining

And no signs of them of to come off

How much time do i need to wait?

Wait for atleast 3 weeks in my case it took 4 weeks

I think its just normal to take that much.

Allow sometime it to settle down.

Since penis is still not healed, so your body is not allowing the blood to rush down there.

So, relax and wait for it to heal completely.
