Hey all, it’s been 6 weeks since I was cut and I’m generally happy with the results so far but had a few questions hopefully some of you could clear up.
1. I still have 3 stitches in and I’m not sure if it’s slowing healing, if so, should I call my doc to have them removed?
2. I clearly still have a bit of swelling right under the head but it’s not drastic at all, wondering if that’s linked to the stitches being in and how long it’ll take to go away?
3. I seem to have lost a bit of length but from what I read it returns, any chance the swelling and stitches are linked to it? I also find my skin stretching to compensate for the lost length, this seems to be pulling my balls further up when I’m erect.

1. I think it’s a good idea to call your doctor. I’d think that by week 6 the stitches have served their purpose so if you tell him he’ll probably tell you to go and maybe remove them
2. You mean swelling where the frenulum was? That’s the area that takes longer to heal so it’s normal if you’re still recovering in that part, you’re already 6 weeks in so I’m sure as time goes by it’ll get better, but if you’re going to see the doctor because of the stitches you can ask him to take a look
3. Swelling definitely plays a part in all that, I mean your body went through a chance and it doesn’t only need to heal on the outside with the stitches but also on the inside, it’s figuring out how to adapt to a change like circumcision and it takes time. Don’t force it, length will go back as time goes by
Yeah! We all heal definitely and we all take different amount of time, the important thing is you see progress :)So if you decide to go see your doctor you can also ask him about this and I’m sure he’ll probably say the same or give you some advice.
Length should come back a little with time and getting more used to the new feel down there. If you have your significant other lightly touch it it might help you relax down there.
