Can nerves on glans surface (epidermis) be restored/regenerated after traumatic damage to the skin of glans? Loss of erogenous feeling.

I'm a 25 year old uncircumcised male.

Basically, I destroyed my glans 5 years ago when I made a pocket pussy (sex toy) out of materials available at home. I used a tube, lube, sponges and a latex glove to make it. I have made this a few times before, and it felt pretty good, so I thought nothing could go wrong if I just made it a little tighter. I was wrong, and the tightness caused the latex glove to induce scarring across the largest part of my glans.

This event has caused many new health problems to appear. It caused my glans to become permanently red, dry (my foreskin doesn't naturally produce lubrication ever since) and hypersensitive to even the slightest friction, to the point that masturbation and sex are painful, instead of pleasurable. Basically, I have rid myself of any erogenous feeling in my glans.

Aside from that, I've developed ED and depression. I've already visited two urologists, one has suggested I just get used to it. I've seen a dermatologist about the dryness and pain, and she just suggested some soothing cream which, as you can't guess, isn't doing jack since the problem is neurological.

I saw my GP and complained about the problem, I should be visiting a neurologist soon to admit to my wrongdoings and destroying my pecker.

I'm not too enthusiastic about seeing a neuro because I'm not expecting any cure or solution. From what I have gathered from years of searching for the solution to this problem all over the internet, is that there is no solution. We can't regenerate nerves, and all those people with damaged or numb glans are basically doomed.

Any words of wisdom?

I see my neurologist regularly and he is a great guy. See yours and see what he has got to say. Have you had a nerve conduction test? That might shed some light on the problem. Your ED might, at least in part, be due to a psychiatric issue consequent to your mutilation.

Hey, thanks for replying. I haven't had any nerve tests done yet, this will be my first visit to a neurologist relating to this problem. Yeah, I'm pretty certain at least my ED is psychological, since I've been obsessed with this issue ever since it happened.

Have you done anything since to address (or cope with) the dryness of the glans? To compensate for the lack of natural lube you don't get anymore from the foreskin. I know you'd need to lube for "activities", but you might need to keep it moisturized for day to day life as well. Besides dermatologist recommended cream or lotion, perhaps like coconut oil, baby oil, etc. That doesn't address your main question, but maybe the other related issues.

Hey, I've been using a moisturizing cream for skin regeneration on a couple of occasions, while it does help while it's applied, as soon as I'm out of cream, dryness comes back. I can't seem to reverse the atrophy of the foreskin. I've used the creams for a few months at a time, and as soon as I stop, it just goes back. Not sure what else I can do, pretty pissed off my curiosity ended in mutilation lol.

What do you wear around your privates? Given this condition of yours, the softer the material the better it might be in keeping it less dry & rough. Something like silky textured underwear. The special offerings from manhood canada dot com might also help when you're not wearing silky underwear.

This is regardless of whether you apply lotion/creams or not, but would definitely help when you don't. It won't hep with the lube aspect though, but at least it won't be scratched up & kept pampered. Would be nice if only this pampering could restore your erogenous sensitivities.

Re dryness, not all lotions are good for that part of our body. I have used Man1 Man Oil. On Amazon or direct from man1health.com.. Worth buying a few tubes and seeing if it helps. I use it 2x per day.
