Hi there I wanted general opinions and help, for the last year i’ve had what looks like purple colourish bruising around the head of my penis. I’ve been to the clinics and doctors who have tested me in terms of swab urine and blood test and all came back negative. Noticed this over year ago now hence all those test have been throughout the last year until now. Could anybody help and give me suggestions of what could be happening?

You're saying your penis head has been purplish for a year now? It's normal for it to be black/blue/purpish if you hit it real hard (like a bruise anywhere else on your body), but are you saying it's same color and it hasn't faded at all in a whole year?

Have you gotten tested for a panel of various STDs, including syphilis, etc?

Do you use any sort of creams and/or soaps on your penis?

I think it’s more like inflammation but not sure what’s causing it. Yeah i’ve had various STD tests, bloods, urine, swab and even a rather uncomfortable one where they put something like a thin kind of swab in your penis. But even that didn’t come back with any infection same as swab, urine and bloods. And doctors told me to try some creams but they didn’t seem to do anything either

Of the doctors that you have seen, have you seen a specialist like a urologist or even a dermatologist? Sometimes, they know stuff because they see it so often whereas a GP/PCP might only see said condition like once a year.

Years ago I had prostatitis and urination was painful. The initial set of docs that I saw, thought it was UTI. When the stuff they gave me did not help, I went to see a urologist. Right off the bat, he said, that this was not UTI. It was prostatitis.
