Bad circumcision

I am 46 and I had my circumcision done 16days ago and the glue that was put on top of the glans came of and noticed that the the glans has been cut. And I feel a burning sensation when I pee. It’s Christmas week and doctors are closed. There is a cut around the whole top of my glans and it bleeds a little when I get an erection at night. Can any one give me some advice of what I could do.

I don’t know where you are but here in Scotland we have an out of hours doctors either that if you are concerned we can go to the accident and emergency department at the hospital.

Hi. What country are you in, and what method of circumcision did you have? Sometimes, a tension thread is placed through/across the glans during surgery. Did you have general anaesthesia? If you are somewhere where a bell was inserted (Gomco or ZSR Stapler) its conceivable gland was damaged during.

I am Charleston S.C USA. The circumcision was done by surgeon.

I too had bleeding from glans but that was due to balanoposthetis inflammation. I just applied neosporin ointment few times just the way i did to the incision wound from circumcision and it healed within 48 hrs. Did your doc prescribe any antibiotic oinment to apply besides oral meds? You can apply the same over glans cuts too until you can visit your doc again.

Some men believe every circ is a bad circ, which your circ only seems to prove.

Ok I have deep cuts on my glans one irregular cut around the top and one going down from the top to the bottom of the glans on the underneath side of the glans. And glue was put on these cuts did not notice them until the glue came of now I have dried blood covering these cuts. But today I am going to see the surgeon. So he can explain why my glans is all cut up.

Compared to every circumcision I have seen here mine looks really bad. None have the cuts I have on there glans.

Every single circ leaves cuts. that's what circ is ... No exception. Absolutely none. You asked for it and that's what you got.
