I am getting circumcision this Friday which is day after tomorrow.. the doc adviced me to shave down there and I did.. but I hahe just trimmed and there are still some little hair left on scrotum and as well as penis too.. I am afraid to use razor or trimmer there as , I am not experienced much. Should I go for waxing? Or it would be bad jjst before circumcision? Or just let it be as it is.and let the doc see to it.if he needs to trim it down?
And how important is to shave down there before circumcision?

Just try to trim back on the pubes you don’t need to wax etc. For my circumcision I didn’t trim it back but I did shave probably not enough but heyy since being circumcised I really shave it all down and only leave a small amount of hair above my penis like a little square 😆. I really hate having lots of hair down there now. Just make sure your penis is fully shaved like
don’t panic bro, it’s not a big deal if there are some hairs left. just make sure that they are not long enough to be an obstacle while they are operating!if u still prefer to clean it completely, u might want consider hair removal creams,,, that’s what i used (they can give u rashes, so be careful to test it out somewhere u won’t mind)...
Trimming with scissors are enough. Just avoid shaving cut with razor before the circumcision. You need unwounded skin before the operation. If you have like 6 cm long hair down there they can stuck in gauze and skin tape.
There is no need to totally shave. If there are any long hairs remaining then trim them with scissors. The important thing is to have pubic hair short enough that none can get into the wound nor get trapped in the dressing.
You are fine. Do not use hair removal products down there. It will burn like hell. I once used nair on my balls and it felt like they were burning. Don't do it.
It doesn’t “matter” per se! It’s more like brushing your teeth before the dentist. It’s more of a curtesy! Just gives the surgeon less to get in the way of their work!
When I was circumcised the doctor said nothing about shaving; I woke up after surgery and had been totally shaved. When I had my revision I asked my surgeon about shaving. I trim my pubic hair and he said I was fine—if guys have a full bush, he asks them to trim. If patients present without being trimmed, the surgical prep team will do it.
You will have bandage and stuff for some time. Shaving the hair ensures that the hair doesn’t get stuck in the bandage and also it becomes easier to use tapes to secure the bandage and sutures.
Now that you have trimmed all the hair you can shave it easily using soap and razed (like fillets fusion) while you are showering - it won’t cause any discomfort and it’s easy to shave in bath/shower. Once it’s fully shaved you can shower and feel completely clean.
Usually the healing process takes 5-8 weeks. So it’s better to shave and start on a clean base.
