I have been having an issue. Last January I had my first yeast infection and my urologist (first time being to a urologist) prescribed Clotramizole Bethansone Dipropriate. It wiped it out and I felt great for almost a year! When I knew or had some weird itchy feeling coming I would use the cream for a little bit. This past November, 2 weeks or 3 ago, I noticed some foreskin Redding happening so I figured I’d use the cream. It didn’t work and was still red so I went to make an appointment figuring maybe a UTI or something. Now mind you, I am a hygiene freak. I understand uncircumcised penises can get dirty so I shower 2-3 times a day sometimes. I’m an avid runner and have a landscaping business so it gets moisture a lot so I have to stay on top of it. The Urologist had me do a urinalysis, negative for UTI or bacteria in urine. Also, recent blood work so NO diabetes. He then said it was probably yeast infection again so once again gave me the same damn cream but prescribed Fluncolaze. Altogether, the week of treatment has passed. My pee hole, meatus is swollen, the skin on my penis is thin almost and red in areas. After sex and ejaculation, it’s substantially red and pee hole burns. I am my girlfriends first and vice versa so no STD’s involved. My question is, is this redness and irritation from the clotramizole bethansone dipropriate? Or is it urethritis? Is it weird he never had me test for urethritis?
He’s been pushing circumcision since the first visit with the first yeast infection. Would this eliminate this redness, dryness, uncomfortable and inflammation?
No fishy smell like normal yeast infections, no whiteness or smegma, just pee hole inflammation and redness on the head of my penis and it’s making my sex life strained. I’m 23 and should be having sexual everyday, and that’s what my drive is like. But since about 2-3 weeks ago, this dry redness and irritation has happened again. Should I see a dermatologist? Thanks in advance for giving this a read and offering advice.
