It's been here for almost 6 weeks. I have been masturbating quite a lot and think that might be cause, but please help!

Do you need to be checked for STIs or do you only masturbate?

A cut like that could easily get infected and needs medical treatment.

Just masturbation. No STIs. Haven't had sex in a long time. What do you mean by medical treatment? Does it look serious?

You need to have it assessed by a doctor and treated accordingly.

If this was caused by masturbation, you need to review how you do it. It should never cause injuries like that.
