How long before your glans desensitized?

Hello, everyone. I’ve been circumcised 45 days ago but I still feel a certain discomfort when I rub my fingers on glans and the part below it. I wanted to know how long was it for you (the question is intended for the ones who went though circumcision as I did) before this annoying sensitivity went away. Thank you in advance!

I am sure someone who has been circumcised will come along and give you what happened in their situation. Of course as all guys are different, time to desensitise varies and you may have a different experience.

I'm 2 and a half weeks post circumcision now. The sensitivity is almost gone. My gland is much drier than before but it is ok to touch and I am comfortable in tight boxers. Still a little sensitive if loose and brushing.

However my foreskin was able to retract up until 6 months ago so my gland has been exposed before. Perhaps if it never was it may take longer.

Mine took about 2-3 weeks tbh I just ended up trying to find the difference between pain and sensitivity and had to just man up myself and started sleeping with boxers on on like the 4th or 5th day to get it used to touching clothing and then about the week after I started touching it more to get used to the feel of my hand in the shower or rubbing Shea butter on it because of dryness it started peeling and it starting to get irritated and lots of prayer to Jesus for healing.

It probably varies from man to man. I did notice color change on glans post circumcision. I did wear tighter underwear until that extreme sensitivity resolved a bit. For me, somewhere around 6 months or so. Try not to think about it as much. Wear what feels comfortable for you. My glans did dry out, and that is a normal process. For me, a minimal loss of sensitivity. Give it time, you will be fine
