hi guys. i am 5.5 weeks post my circumcision. I have masturbated twice till now. Masturbated yesterday night for the second time. My penis has become red in colour. There’s no swelling, but its just a bit red. No pain too. Wanted to know what was this and am I overdoing it?
Also, can I have sex after 6 weeks of my op?

Nobody can predict when masturbation and sex will be OK for your penis. Generally 6 weeks is the time to begin but if your penis is telling you that you are not ready listen to it. Don’t forget that the way you masturbate may have to change post circumcision.
Uhm why not massage it with wound healing cream. Softly. If you use wound healing cream it will get red.Just take it slow and dient be rough.

No issue, vitamin C, Vitamin B complex (especially B2, B6) and zink will also aid wound healing. Contractubex Gel is also often recommended. Alternatively you can use medical grade silicon oil (it should keep the skin nice and smooth and reduce irritation). And keep everything clean... baby wipes with camomile etc.
You do not need to do all of this... but take it slow with your partner for the next few months 
Thanks man! I am already on Vitamin and Zinc meds. I’ll look into the silicon oil. Will virgin coconut oil do the trick? Yup I try to keep it as clean as I can.

Silicon oil (medical grade) is really the best... the issue with organic oils is they can easily get contaminated and as you mentioned redness... I would recommend it. It creates a protective layer that keeps pretty long after application so I would go for that rather than coconut oil which gets absorbed to the skin.

Lots of good lubes out there but being post op I'd make sure they don't irritate your healing. Would suck to have to wait longer due to an issue...

Sex after 10 weeks literally . And masturbating defo gets in the way of healing . That's a given . Abstain and let the skin heal and recover it's elasticity.
