I did my Circumcision the last 9/11. It’s been a month now and a baglike swelling has formed on the left side of my penis. My doctor prescribed prednisone for it and though it helped a bit, the swelling has not subsided. Anyone else experienced the same? A revision would be advised? When I’m erect it almost disappears under the glans corona.
Same here bro but mine not only on left side.mine on all along cut foreskin like a ring and also under the glan and it's huge.y surgeon advice me a circumcision revision but I am not ready for that.mine circumcision done 2 month ago.use clobestol propionate 0.05%.its helping. A lot .about 30 percent swelling gone in 10 days after using it

Sad to hear that. I think mine is different though. There’s no swelling anywhere but in this part. And it’s not like it’s hurt or healing. All the rest is gone, subsided. This swelling is like some extra skin was left, and the sutures were done wrong. It’s uneven, besides being swollen.

It's way too early to re-cut. Swelling can last 2-18 months post-op. Your lymphatic system on penis is damaged because of incision line around your penis. Fluid behind the wound can't flow freely to your groins (lymphatic nodes). Let the light pressure bandage or gravity help the fluid flow. Keep you penis upright if it's possible. Time is a healer.

I just don’t think it’s a normal swelling. It’s like the foreskin was cut unevenly. There’s clearly more skin in this side than around the rest of the circumference. And it’s fully healed everywhere else, including in this swollen part. I don’t feel any pain, so don’t think is inflamed or anything.

How are you now that's it's been a few months? I'm 2.5 months in and still have some swelling and tenderness along the suture scar. Everyone says be patient and give it time, but that's easier said than done!
Hey I got cut back in April last year. So around 10 months ago now. It’s been a very very slow recovery for me. Looking back on pictures it looks like my penis had been thru a meat mincer.
One of my stitches pop and had a little gape in the wound and the swelling in the frenulum area was the size of a grape. I would say now 10 month on I’m 90% healed. Still a small amount of swelling on the underside on the frenulum. However I’m now absolutely made up with the result. Swelling will get better, believe me. I was using this site when pictures were allowed and didn’t see many recoveries worse than mine.
Man, the recovery has been okay for the most part. But the swelling I was referring to when I posted here is still there. The same. My doctor said it probably is some sort of adhesion or keloid. He said he never saw anything like it in his practice. I’ll go through a correction procedure next month. But the rest is fine. The problem is only aesthetics (which is bad enough in my opinion). Supposedly, it’s easy to solve. He said an incision to remove the keloid/whatever will solve it without shortening the distance between the scar line and the glans, which is what I worry the most about a revision. I can update you after it’s done.
