I'm 3 months op, and although the hypersensitivity is gone long time ago, the glans and the inner foreskin part of my penis stings somewhat when I touch it a certain way. For example, when I get out of the shower, rubbing a towel across it stings it.
Anyone had this issue and how long for it to resolve?
Absolutely, I had to take shower with back toward shower for months. If facing shower it was very sensitive and uncomfortable. Pat dry. A process called keratinization which you may or may not know, starts, everyone is different, but happens to all circumcisions. Do whatever you need to do, to minimize direct “rough” irritation to this now sensitive area. Time will resolve it-time-my thoughts and experiences-be well & allow process to heal
How many months until you were completely pain free?
It was a while back but certainly felt better after 2 months. Each day got better as it will for you, certainly by 4 I was fine. We all heal differently. There will be a day, this will be in past and you can support others-just give it time-I am hoping you will be surprised as I was
