I have opted for circumcision.

What should I ask in the appointment which is soon?

Style?

Anesthetic?

Healing pain?

All you mentioned. I usually don’t answer below 18, but I had problems at your age. Ask as many questions as you need, especially post-circumcision healing and specifically how to manage the post operative time. I am hoping you need one for medical and not cosmetic reasons. But all your thoughts are important questions. If relaxant, many are here to support you as well.

I would certainly opt for anaesthetic!! A lot may depend on why you are having your circumcision.

Write down your questions so that you don't forget anything when with the doctor. If possible take a small notebook to record his responses so you don't forget those.

All circumcisions of teens and adults will be done under anaesthetic. If possible, ask for a local rather than a general as it doesn't upset your whole system and allows you to go home immediately after the procedure.

The style is entirely up to you, but most men want a tight cut.

There will be discomfort for several days after the procedure, but most folk find that it can be adequately controlled with Paracetamol - but the doctor may prescribe something stronger.
