Small holes after circumcision??

Hello, I had my circumcision done 13 days ago and my stitches are falling off. However, I noticed that now I have these small holes in the place the stitches were. Is that normal? like will my skin cover the holes overtime or will I have a holed up dick forever???

If the stitches have fallen out or been removed during the first week then the holes will almost certainly close up naturally shortly. Permanent holes, known as 'stitch tunnels' can form if the stitches are left for 3 weeks or more.

Should a 'tunnel' be formed then a doctor can cut off the top 'bridge' under local anaesthetic once the circumcision is fully healed.

It will complete the second full week tomorrow. I have my follow up Thursday, should I mention that to my doctor?

It will do no harm to mention it and at least he can reassure you.

Yes. If dissolvable sutures are used. They will slowly 10-14 days break apart and fall out. Yes, the suture “holes” will granulate or “ fill” in and after time should be i noticeable. Slowly the scar line will heal and be I call “ thinner” as a different kind of tissue fills in. You may always see a small visible scar line depending on ethic race/skin color, where circumcision was sutured. This scar may darken or lighten again depending on skin tone. Suture holes fill in-best wishes and heath during healing. It does take time. Your glans may also slightly change in color as a very thin layer of skin heals the exposed glans. This is normal for everyone circumcised and is called keratinization which you can look up-again best of heath
