Sudafed to stop night erections

I was circumcised 2 days ago for medical reasons (constant soreness and infections). The first night I had 4 painful night erections which seemed like lasted 5 mins or so, hardness like I’ve never experienced!!!. So painful they woke me up. When I undid my dressing the next day I noticed I had 2 tears in my skin between stitches (I’ve been told by a nurse it will heal ok).

I read somewhere that Sudafed decongestant tablets pseudoephedrine hydrochloride tablet version) stop night erections. I tried it last night and it worked! So hopefully it will carry on working. Hopefully this might help some of you. Seek your doctors medical advice obviously before taking this.

You probably would know this but also limiting water intake after 6pm , double voiding , emptying bladder before going to bed and at any time during night can also help . Fetal position helps out in most cases and it would subside the erection within secs . Alternatively putting a dry cold cloth on yourself can also help . Would suggest you to try these out if you haven't but all in all definitely follow your doctors advise esp since you have tears post op . All the best ;

Thanks, Yes I’ve been limiting fluids nearer bedtime as well and going to the toilet just before bed. I can only go to sleep on my back (always been the same)

If you feel like an erection is coming up and you feel alittle pain at the start of an erection even during your sleep , lie on your side and bring your knees up close to your chest . This helped me a lot esp in the first week post op !
