Viagra and finasteride

I'm 75 and taking finasteride for several years. I also take 100 mg losartan for high blood pressure and flomax. I'm not sure if one or all of these in combination is to blame, but I only get slightly erected when aroused. I won't get into it but a combination of weight gain and small size penis, makes it difficult to achieve penetration.

On top of that, I cannot climax without a significant, rapid oral stimulation and/or rapid hand movement or vibrator. When I do reach a climax, it is weak, plus my semen is only a drop or two. If I don't wash or urinate soon after, the drip of semen will dry at the tip and cause me to spray the next time I urinate.

I'm involved with a woman 30 yrs my junior and want very much to please her and myself. What advice would you offer regarding viagra, cialis, etc? Should I be worried about interaction with blood pressure meds or finasteride?

Is there a correlation between time that I take other meds vs ED meds?

You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist to review your medications. It may be that age is also an issue. How is your cancer doing? I assume you are on regular review.

So my 2 cents would be to meet a doctor . But other than that , finasteride kind of increases the testosterone level in the body by preventing it from being converted to another form . So this increased testosterone actually should be contributing to your libido. However , since you are 75 , it is safe to say that your climaxes and erections can be weaker due to an overall decrease in testosterone production by the body due to the age . It is quite a normal process. Also about drug interactions , best to clarify with the doc . All the best !

Time to get inventive and forget about penetration as the main way to enjoy sex with your younger partner. Pleasure her with tongue, lips, fingers and good humour and take the pressure off both of you by helping her to orgasm with no penile involvement. Then by all means encourage her to pleasure you, and give yourself a climax with her encouragement.

Combining viagra and flomax can have severe effects on your blood pressure. A chat with your doctor about this is certainly needed.

Hi there,

I’ve been taking finasteride for a while and occasionally use Viagra, so I understand your concerns. Viagra or Cialis can help with your erection issues, but since you’re on losartan for high blood pressure, it’s crucial to consult your doctor first. These medications can lower blood pressure further, which might cause dizziness or other side effects when combined with your current meds. Cialis could be a better choice for you because it lasts longer and offers more flexibility. Timing your medications doesn’t typically interfere with ED meds, but spacing them out by a few hours, especially Flomax, can minimize side effects.

Also, please note that meds such as Cialis must be of good quality, so I buy meds for men's health, including Cialis here - global-service247.com/buy-c..., I chose them at the time based on good reviews on one forum and was not mistaken, the order always comes in good quality and quickly, now I always use them.

As for your challenges with climax and semen production, these are common with age and medications like finasteride and Flomax. Reduced semen volume and weaker orgasms are expected, but staying hydrated and doing pelvic floor exercises might provide slight improvements. While there’s no perfect solution, focusing on overall health and discussing any persistent issues with your doctor can be helpful.

Addressing your concerns about weight and size, improving circulation through light exercise and a balanced diet can benefit both your confidence and sexual health. Stay healthy! 😉
