THERE IS HOPE WITH OUT SURGERY

So I'm 38 and and for about 20 + years I haven't been able to pull the hood down while I'm hard if ya know what I mean.

Even when asked about it by girlfriend explained it as thats just what it is, and while I have heard about adult circumcision was like hell no.

But over past 3 years been slowly stretching the foreskin here and there. Like when She's giving blowjob she'll slowly pull the skin back a little even if its just a bit.(she's down there any way might as well have some fun with it)

Slowly but surely was able to pull all the way back while hard, not comfortable but its a start.

Now I can pull skin back and enjoy while hard and there was no knife needed. Do yourself a favor at this point it is what it is, work with it and things will be fine dont get surgery not worth it!!

JUST REMEMBER IF IT STARTS TO HURT STOP CAUSE YOU WILL SERIOUSLY HURT YOURSELF!!!

There are various degrees of phimosis , some which can be corrected by steroids , some by stretching alone and the rest may require intervention . It's great that things worked for you but saying that surgery is not worth it, is quite bold . This forum doesn't actually advocate nor does it go against circ. It is entirely upto the individual and his doctor to decide the mode and method of getting treated. I can say for certainty that it did not work in my case and I was getting recurrent infections that were complicating things so I had to get it done so that was my tipping point. You seem to have been lucky so take care and all the best !

Fair enough and in your case sorry to hear and your right can go quite far.I think what gets me some what is in some cases seems where surgery seems didn't have to be done. So I apologize for any of that I more ment that if you do get done make sure you absolutely have to

No problem ! I am happy it worked out for you ! No one really opts for a surgery unless it's a must and trust me I had exhausted all the other avenues and hence had to get it done . Cheers !

The same results were achieved with my penis. My foreskin wouldn’t retract when soft in my mid teens, and when erect up to my early twenties. I got into the habit it retracting as often as possible and by my mid twenties it rolled back with no surgery needed. To this day my foreskin works properly and gives me no trouble at all, so for some of us, it can be fixed without invasive surgery.

Hi ! So yes , many doctors actually advocate retracting the foreskin right from an early age if choosing to be uncircumcised and constant back and forth over the growing adolescent years. This is to somewhat pick up phimosis early and also to act as a natural stretching mechanism as your penis and foreskin grow . So technically speaking uptill your early 20s like you said , if it is a low or mild grade it can be settled with just stretching and even topical steroid ointments at best . In some cases where there is no adequate room for the glans to go through the ring made by the foreskin occurs , it may trigger an emergency like paraphimosis. Hence usually the doctors beyond the mid 20s suggest for op . This is what happens in my opinion . And it's great yours was sorted out well . Even though mine was a mild grade , no matter the creams or stretching it didn't work out for me and was leading to infections .

I do definitely agree with you that many people do not require circs at all . It's just like the use of episiotomies during childbirth. I just hope there was more research into this area so surgery can be suggested only to the people who need it but sadly it has become an all or none phenomenon. Cheers !

There's supposedly a new technique where they just cut a small part out of the foreskin so it can grow looser. Not sure what it's called. I think it's newer than a dorsal slit.
