Depends. I still have bumps after a year because my doctor sutured me too tightly and did a bad job.

People here talk about people's ability to heal but in my experience it seems the surgeons skill when suturing is the most important thing when it comes to how much bumps and keloid you will have after the surgery. If he uses too many sutures and tighten them too hard your skin will grow together in lumps.

Most of the times they completely recede or atleast become much smaller. Some maybe blood clots that completely get resorbed or some may just be inflammation from the sutures. Either way they shouldnt be a problem . True that for some ppl , if sutured too tight , the intervening tissue bulges slightly out like a bump which may not recede. Would advise you not to worry and check back with your doc to determine the final outcome and look. All the best !

Different people heal differently. All it takes is to take care of the scar by gentle massage with bio oil or something.

Also, the suture quality and the surgeon's skill matters.

Surgeon's skill is number 1. Swelling is probably up to your own body but it's obvious from looking at this page that the surgeon's skill is widely widely different.

Mine never went sadly

I'm about 5 weeks in and a lot of the balls and bumps on the incision for me have receded considerably. There's still a couple of areas when the skin is still elevated. Although, from what I understand everyone heals differently and it make take longer for the scar itself to smooth out. Would recommend speaking with your urologist/surgeon on any methods to help heal the scar. I've got my 6 week appointment coming up around week 8 (they're booked far out here) where I'm going to be bringing up the same.

Thanks man ! And I’ve got my 6 week appointment coming up soon so I’ll discuss it with the urologist too . from what I’ve heard from other people is that massaging it with bio oil helps the scaring go down so hopefully that will work .

While the bumps and raised surface should go down and dissolve completely, however it can't be said same about scarline.

circumcision mostly leave a dark scarline on shaft but its common to have it. Its perfectly fine to have a dark scarline.
