I'm currently on my 7th day post-op, and was just wondering if the huge dried blood area (2nd pic) would be a problem? There's always a little blood leaking out from there and it is rather unsightly. Any tips?

Does seem like you have bled quite a little on that side. Just do water rinsing for now and kep the area dry and clean . You can use mild soap but do keep rinsing off with clean warm water. Don't try to peel of scabs , crusts or blood clots as right now they are stopping rebleeds and helping in recovery . Also whenever the clot gets wet , do expect little amount of watery red bleeds that may actually not be bleeds but just the product of water with the clot . Hope you follow up with a real doctor ! All the best !
Thank you! Yes, I intend to head down to the A&E department to have it checked out. It's still slightly bleeding as we speak so I'm a little worried.
Hope all goes well at A & E
Updated: Visited the A&E yesterday and the doc removed the bloody area. Nothing bad happened. The stitches were all still intact and the blood actually came from a small opening near that area so its nothing serious!!
